Heems - "Eat Pray Thug"

Longtime fans know Heems as one-half of the self-parody alternative hip-hop duo ‘Das Racist’, but the Queens native rapper undoubtedly proved to be more than capable of standing on his own with the release of his debut solo album, “Eat Pray Thug”. A tale of a son born to immigrant parents in a post 9/11 world, “Eat Pray Thug” exists in a place of no boundaries, rules, or exceptions, bouncing back from painful truths to out-of-wack comedy at an almost frantic pace. If this is any indication of the type of transfixing storytelling Heems can pull off, we can’t wait to see what he accomplishes musically in the future. "U.S.A.”.
